Profile centers are organizational networks that combine sub-disciplinary/topic-related skills. They do not represent medical units. They are distinguished by the fact that they complement the basic organizational structures of the University Medical Center Mainz, assume tasks involving research and/or teaching and/or patient care, contribute to the cross-regional visibility of the University Medical Center Mainz and significantly shape its profile.
