Welcome to Research Service

Physicians and scientists who undertake research in the medical units of the University Medical Center Mainz engage in activities that cover a broad spectrum of disciplines. In recent years, the University Medical Center Mainz has consolidated its national and international standing by virtue of the large number and excellence of its published papers and through its success in acquiring competitive third-party funding.

We consider the promotion of the work of our researchers, and in particular our early-career researchers, to be among our core tasks.

Specifically, we help with the

  • screening of national and international calls for proposals in order to identify relevant funding opportunities and provide targeted information and strategic advice on development to researchers at all stages of their careers.
  • Support in preparing applications for external funding.
  • Organization of informational events on national and international funding programs for researchers.
