Cooperation between the University Medical Center Mainz and the Vietnamese-German Faculty of Medicine in Ho Chi Minh City

In the fall of 2020, the first Vietnamese students came to Mainz to start their practical year at the University Medical Center, the Catholic Hospital Mainz (KKM) and the Idar-Oberstein Hospital. They are enrolled here as regular students and are therefore have the same status as Mainz practical year students. After completing their practical year, they sit the third state examination in medicine and subsequently apply for a German license to practice medicine.
