The department International (Abteilung Internationales) at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz is responsible for students of the Universitätsmedizin Mainz abroad.

The responsible officer for International Study Issues at the Mainz university medical centre is Mr. Univ.-Prof. Dr. P. Brockerhoff. Should you have any questions, please first contact a staff member at the Erasmus information office medicine in the department of research and teaching. The opening hours are given below.
The Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz has in the degree program medicine cooperation, e.g. with the universities of Dijon/France, Verona/Italy, Graz/Austria, Athens/Greece, Ljubljana/Slovenia and many more.

The application deadline for a stay abroad in the winter semester 2011/2012 and/or summer semester 2012 for the above named partner universities was the 31. January 2011.
The application period for a stay abroad in the winter semester 2012/2013 and/or summer semester 2013 for the above named partner universities will be from 1. December 2011 to the 31. January 2012.
