Is it possible themselves as guest student in lectures and courses from the Universitätsmedizin Mainz being participate?
The guest student program at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz serves the general continuing education on individual knowledge fields, without intending a formal qualification (certificate, reference, etc.). The participation of the guest student is only possible at optional teaching events at the Universitätsmedizin Mainz.

When and where will I get my perfomance sheet?
Since the summer semester of 2009, the performance sheets won't issue anymore in paper form. The students look for their own ratings in the studies and exam administration system, JOGU-StINe (CampusNet) and they will make a copy of their rating overview.

Where to log out from a course?
During the registration period, the students themselves can log in or log out from courses. After the registration period, a reasoned deregistration is only possible through the student office (Studienbüro).

Is it possible to log out before a examination was written?
Students must notify in writing immediately the leader of the course about the reasons of resignation. If the leader permits the resignation from the event, the performance is considered as not have been undertaken. Permission can only be granted if valid reasons are given, immediately notified and detected in time.
In case of an illness, a medical certificate must be presented. If a student misses an appointment for performance review without giving a valid reason or she/he does not take part in the performance review without giving a valid reason, the assessment will be graded as ‘insufficient’.

What do I have to do, if I would make a leave of absence?
A possibility for an official leave of absence is been given. Before the leave of absence, you have to make a request for it, usually at the admission centre (Studierendensekretariat) until to a re-registration. A leave of absence is possible, e.g. for maternity leave, parental leave, illness or study abroad. Further information will you find here. If you have any questions, please contact the admission office at the campus (JGU) or the relevant study office.

When and where do I submit to a medical certificate?
Because of an illness, you are not able for taking part at an examination or a course; please submit to a medical certificate at the study office or at the student admission centre. A specific medical certificate says, that you are not be able to study, please give this certificate as soon as possible to the admission centre or the study office of the relevant scientific institute.

Where can I change my address?
Please report yourself with address- and name-changes at the students' admissions office (Studierendensekretariat) on campus.
